Why does this matter so much? A mentor once told me, “If you want to be a business owner, you need to know your numbers better.” Back then, I had the mindset of a salesperson—head down, staying busy, hoping I was headed in the right direction. That advice shifted everything. It elevated my thinking from simply being a busy salesperson to becoming the CEO of my business.
