6 Questions To Ask About Your Business

June 05, 20251 min read

The busier life gets, the more I realize I need to carve out time to think. And let’s be honest, real thinking time doesn’t always come easy. It can feel slow, uncomfortable, and sometimes painfully revealing.

But this week, I’ve been sitting with six questions from leadership coach Mike Forza, and they’ve been exactly what I needed.

If you know your business would benefit from more intentional space to think, these might be the questions to start with.

  1. What is the purpose of this business?

  2. What problem are we solving for?

  3. Who is your "ideal" customer/consumer (with that problem)?

  4. What is the solution for them (that IS our business)?

  5. What is our competition in this market? (for these specific people and solving these specific problems)?

  6. How will we be uniquely positioned to solve this problem for/with these people in a competitive way?

Let me know which one hits home for you.
