ONE question we ask clients to customize our approach and serve them better.

During a recent trip to Spain, my wife Alyce and I visited a local real estate office and happened upon a training session where agents were learning about the DISC assessment.  We couldn't resist - we offered a tip we have been using with The Dailey Group for years.

One simple way to customize our approach and better serve our clients is by using the DISC personality assessment. I learned a valuable question from Michael Mayer years ago that can help clients self-identify their personality style:

"If your best friend or partner were going to describe you, would they describe you as straightforward and to the point (D), social and outgoing (I), studious and dependable (S), or careful and perfectly accurate (C)?"

This question helps us better understand how to communicate with clients and treat them the way they want to be treated, according to their personality type.

For more information on how to apply this concept, check out the Platinum Rule.
